Cycling (mountain bike)
Cycling is an ideal way to do sports; for a trip to the hills or to the mountains, a mountain bike allows you to tackle the toughest climbs with reduced muscular effort, thanks to the geared down gear.
The biker’s equipment must be handy and lightweight and it should include a helmet, padding for elbows, shoulders and knees, hard-soled shoes with anti-slip, padded palm gloves and goggles with shatterproof scratch resistant lenses. In addition, the rider must be equipped with a pump, a repair tool kit and a first aid kit containing mercurochrome (to use as disinfectant), a white bandage patch, and a can of cold spray, painkillers and aspirin. It is also important to drink a lot of water and/or juices, or to dissolve one or more sachets of potassium and magnesium in your canteen, in order to reintegrate mineral salts.
